Jude Johnstone has been a successful songwriter for over 20 years and will discuss her creative process when writing songs in the one-hour program public radio show, "Art of the Song," airing the week of June 2, 2009. The show explores the universal truths common to the creative expression. Jude began playing the piano and writing songs at the age of eight. She started playing clubs at 16 and at 19 she surprised no one when she headed West to continue to hone her skills in the studios and nightclubs of LA, where she found herself collaborating with many of the city's top producers including Henry Lewy, T-Bone Burnett, & Chuck Plotkin.

Indie songwriter Jeff Caylor  wasn't planning to move around the world when he released his first album two years ago. In fact, he imagined doing what many other singing songwriters do. They tour locally, and then regionally; eventually widening their fan base in enlarging, concentric circles. But Jeff Caylor changed everything when he moved to Hong Kong last July. "Moving to Hong Kong simply made more sense than staying in Colorado," says Caylor. "I have always wanted to live abroad and even though my first album sold fairly well and received great reviews, it was a good time for me to shake things up."
